The Block is a heavy reinforced concrete waste compactor! Used with a forklift and the one tonne weight will compress and compact industrial waste, packaging, rubbish and recycling materials, either on the ground, or in the bin.  The Australian Made Concrete Block leaves a very low environmental footprint, reducing the number of waste management trucks on the road, and using gravity and weight to crush most industrial waste, including difficult items like cardboard drums, and even old softwood pallets.  Now you can compress your industrial waste in your bin, and have it collected when you want, rather than on a weekly, or even daily contract cycle

Recommended waste to crush is typical warehouse packaging waste, plastics, cardboards and some softwood pallets etc. 
Please note that some metal waste such as drums etc can be crushed on the ground, then placed in the bin, there is limits to what type of metals can be crushed. May not be suitable for recycled metal waste facilities and similar businesses.
Please note the useable height limit of 650mm, bins that are 4m or higher would limit the blocks usage within the bin.

Only use The Block on industrial waste bins that are welded steel Construction. To prevent damage to the bin or skip, the Block is designed not to touch the base of the bin. The Block extends 650mm below the underside of the fork pockets. Accordingly, The Block should only be used on industrial waste bins and skips which have sides with a minimum height of 800mm (from bin floor to top of side), to provide a layer of compressed waste at least 150mm thick, between the underside of the Block, and the base of the bin.

Designed to fit a Standard Forklift Tines
The Block is fitted with safety chain eyelets and safety chains to prevent the Block from Slipping off the Fork Tines  
Lifting holes are designed to prevent damage to the bin, by stopping the Block well short of the base 

Please Note the safety chain is light weight and designed to break if used incorrectly. It's sole purpose is to stop sliding forward on the forklift tines. If The Block is placed on the ground and the chain is under tension, it is designed to break. This is so it's not possible to tip/pull over the concrete block as this would create serious safety risks!
